STELLAGE 52

A unique chair with an incredibly original design: the sinuous shapes of the back and legs give the small chair individuality. “Stellage” is a design team consisting of Gabetti & Isola, Raineri, which won the competition held by the Turin Chamber of Commerce in 1952 for the design and layout of the building and furniture for the new stock exchange, resulting in the creation of a chair that has become an icon of design, and was presented for permanent exhibition at MOMA in New York. The re-release of the chair retains the core of the original design, however, the Stellage 52 features minor changes in keeping with the aesthetics of Ceccotti Collezioni. The finish is made of solid American walnut, leather upholstery.
